Miles City - Fencing Project Proposed For Interstate 94

Montana Department
of Transportation Proposes Interstate Fencing Project for Interstate
94

Miles City  The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would
like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to replace
fence along about 23.3 miles of Interstate 94. The project begins
west of the second Moon Creek Road Interchange at reference post
128.8 and extends east for 23.3 miles, ending near the Dixon Creek
crossing at reference post 152.1.

Proposed work includes replacement
of existing fencing along Interstate 94. The purpose of the project
is to preserve access control and enhance the safety of the traveling
public.

A target construction date will be determined upon
completion of all project development activities and availability of
funding. No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be needed.
