of Transportation Proposes Intersection Improvement Project on
Interstate 90 Eastbound Off-ramp at 19th Street Interchange
— The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to notify
the public and seek comments on a proposal to install a traffic
signal and to upgrade pedestrian and Americans with Disabilities Act
(ADA) facilities on the eastbound off-ramp of I-90 at reference post
350.0 and 19th Street.
Proposed work includes installing a traffic
signal and pedestrian and ADA features at the intersection. The
expected impacts to the traveling public are expected to be minimal
with short-term temporary lane closures.
Construction is tentatively
planned for 2018 depending on completion of design and availability
of funds. This project will be coordinated with another project (UPN
9214-Bozeman-Livingston ADA Upgrades) to construct sidewalk along
19th Avenue, anticipated to start construction in late 2017.
