The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and L&J Construction Group, LLC of Ennis, have completed principal construction on the Wolf Creek Bridges project. This project saw several improvements to three bridges in Wolf Creek.

Improvements included:

  • Resurfaced the north- and southbound Wolf Creek Interchange bridges on I 15
  • Resurfaced bridge approaches on I 15, providing a smoother driving surface
  • Complete replacement of the bridge deck (driving surface) on Walsh Street Bridge over Little Prickly Pear Creek
  • New guardrail and barrier rail
  • Improved sidewalk and pedestrian ramp on Walsh Street
  • Resurfaced the Walsh Street Intersection near the northbound on- and off-ramps

Though principal construction is complete, crews may return for some minor finishing work in the future. This will have minimal impacts on traffic.

MDT and L&J Construction Group would like to thank the Wolf Creek community and the traveling public for their patience throughout this project.
