Project Analysis | Our Programs
Project Analysis is responsible for establishing Montana's Statewide Transportation Plan, which sets a direction and vision for how the transportation system will be managed and developed into the future. This is accomplished through the Performance Programming Process, which ensures MDT makes the best investment decisions based on overall direction from our customers, available resources, and system performance. Project Analysis is also responsible for preparing the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, which identifies all transportation-related capital and operating projects Montana expects to implement or build in the next five fiscal years.
