East Belgrade Interchange Project

Construction Status - November 17 - 21, 2014

With the recent change in weather things are beginning to wind down for the season. Asphalt paving and pavement markings have been completed through the Frontage Road work zone and traffic has been fully restored to Frontage Road.

While the majority of the traffic control devices have been removed from the Frontage Road work zone please continue to expect reduced speed limits, flaggers, changing traffic patterns and potential delays over the course of the next couple of weeks. Crews will continue work on installing the new overhead traffic signal and continue grading the road shoulders.

On the interstate portion of the project; concrete crews are nearing their final concrete pours on the new concrete roundabouts at the bottom of the interstate on and off ramps. Dirt crews are finishing up grading work between the Interstate and the Frontage Road.

During Frontage Road construction the entrance to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport will remain open at all times. However, please allow extra travel time to assure a timely arrival.

Motorists are reminded to watch for work crews and equipment, as well as signs indicating reduced speed limits and detours. Posted limits are enforced until signs indicate that the work zone has ended. Fines double in work zones.

Weekly project updates will appear in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Belgrade News and local radio stations.
