Construction Status - Week of April 27 - May 1
Concrete crews are continuing with their northward progression. They have completed the slope protection underneath all three bridges and sidewalk installation along Airway Boulevard between the south connection with Alaska Road and the new intersection of Northern Pacific Avenue and Airway Boulevard. They have now moved to the Frontage Road and Airway Boulevard North of the Frontage Road.
Concrete crews are continuing with concrete pours for the roundabout at the new intersection of Northern Pacific Avenue and Airway Boulevard and are anticipated to be complete by the first week in May.
Grading crews have completed the grading work and topsoil placement along Airway Boulevard between Interstate 90 and Frontage Road. Crews will continue finishing topsoil along Frontage Road and Airway Boulevard North of the Frontage Road as sidewalk installation is completed.
Traffic impacts are anticipated to continue to be minimal as we continue with concrete work and topsoil placement over the course of the next couple of weeks.
Motorists are reminded to watch for work crews and equipment, as well as signs indicating reduced speed limits and detours. Posted limits are enforced until signs indicate that the work zone has ended. Fines double in work zones
