Construction Update

July 7, 2014 - M.A. DeAtley Construction is nearing completion on the Greek Creek Campground site. Rock excavation is complete and placement of crushed base course is nearing completion. Asphalt paving is expected to begin this week. Once Greek Creek is substantially complete, crews will move to Castle Rock to place the 2nd lift of asphalt. This work is anticipated to take 5 working days. Seal and Cover operations to follow at all sites once paving is complete.

The 12' width restriction is no longer in place.

During work hours, 15 minute delays should be expected throughout the construction season. Motorists are reminded to watch for work crews and equipment as well as signs indicating detours, lane closures and reduced speed limits. Posted limits are enforced until signs indicate that the work zone has ended. Fines are double in work zones.
