The proposed project includes enhancements to each intersection to better accommodate traffic movements and improve safety. The improvements at each intersection are unique to that location, and are designed to fit the particular situation, providing the best balance of safety and cost, while minimizing impacts to adjacent landowners, as well as to the environment. A brief description of the improvements at each intersection follows:
Intersection #1 – Drury Ln/Pioneer Rd/Old Hwy 312
The improvements at this intersection include:
- New left turn lanes
- Slight re-alignment of Drury Lane and Pioneer Road
- New luminaires (street lights)
Intersection #2 - Cline Rd/Larimer Ln/McGirl Rd/Old Hwy 312
The improvements at this intersection include:
- New left turn lanes
- Slight re-alignment of Larimer Lane and McGirl Road
- New luminaires (street lights)
Intersection #3 - Twelvemile Rd/Hoskins Rd/Old Hwy 312The improvements at this intersection include:
- New luminaires (street lights)
- Shielding of the canopy lights at the Sinclair Station
- New striping
- Perpetuate the existing left turn lane
Intersection #4 - Shepherd Rd/Vermilion Rd/Old Hwy 312The improvements at this intersection include:
- New left turn lanes
- Upgrade flashing yellow and red lights
