Red Lodge 8th to Robinson Project Project Status

Anticipated for the Week of September 15:
Next week Goran anticipates completing the storm drain system on Brewery Hill and beginning to haul off excess dirt. Once the excess dirt is hauled off, Goran will begin building the roadway and preparing for curb and gutter installation. Goran will continue milling and paving on Red Lodge South.

South Red Lodge
Goran has milled approximately 1 mile on Broadway and is continuing to work south. Work on the ADA ramps resumed on Wednesday. Weather has contributed to slow production this week. Traffic is flowing in a "one-way" pattern via pilot cars and traffic signals during working hours. Travelers can expect short waits.

3rd Street to Robinson:
Goran continues general cleanup of this zone.

Brewery Hill
Goran continues to install the storm drain system and has installed approximately 1,800' of concrete pipe and manholes. Goran has approximately 250' of concrete pipe left to install. Ground water, poor weather and working in live traffic has slowed production significantly.Traffic is flowing in a "one-way" pattern via pilot cars and traffic signals during working hours. Travelers can expect short waits.

Current construction activities expected to be completed by November 16.

Roundabout - 5th Street to 2nd Street/5th Street to 8th Street:
Upon completion of the Brewery Hill storm drain system, Goran's pipe crew will demo a narrow section in front of the Fire Station and up Highway 78 to connect the storm drain system on Brewery Hill to the system installed under Broadway. Upon completion of this connection, Goran will re-evaluate the schedule based on forecasted weather conditions and time remaining before the November 16 "Winter Shutdown". It is anticipated that for these sections of the project will not begin until Spring 2015.
