Traffic Impacts (Detours, Delays and Closures)

Broadway (212) is currently closed from 2nd street to 5th street. Business access is provided via the posted detours.

HWY 78 is open in a "one-way" configuration with pilot cars and short waits during construction activities.

Impacts to Residents and Businesses

Businesses and residents in the 2nd street to 5th street area continue to be impacted by the detour.

Signage and flaggers are in place to help minimize the impact and lessen the business access confusion.

Motorists should expect reduced speeds and minimal delays and are reminded to watch for work crews and equipment, as well as signs indicating reduced speed limits. Posted limits are enforced until signs indicate that the work zone has ended.

Weekly construction meetings are scheduled every other Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Red Lodge Senior Center. Next meeting is scheduled for May 28.

Final construction activities completion: Mid-July
