Red Lodge 8th to Robinson Project Project Status

Anticipated for the Week of October 13:

Brewery Hill
Brewery Hill is closed. Traffic is detoured to Airport Road. Motorists can access Broadway via 19th. The closure will last three to four weeks.

The existing material (dirt) on Brewery Hill is too soft and unsuitable to build the new road upon. Goran is in the process of cutting out and removing approximately 2,500 cubic yards of the unsuitable dirt. This material will be replaced with material from off-site. Once the new material is placed, Goran can continue to build the structural section of the roadway. The removal and replacement of the Brewery Hill Material should take approximately 7 working days.

South Red Lodge
Goran has completed the milling operation for the season and is completing the re-paving. Goran has completed ADA Ramp removal for the season and is focusing on completing the ramps that have been demolished.Traffic is flowing in a "one-way" pattern via pilot cars and traffic signals during working hours. Travelers can expect short waits.

3rd Street to Robinson:
This week Goran anticipates completing the storm drain tie in from Broadway to the connection on Brewery Hill, and will pave the final lift. Goran is currently installing light poles.

Current construction activities expected to be completed by November 16.
