Noxon - Resurfacing Project Proposed For MT Highway 200

Montana Department
of Transportation Proposes Resurfacing Project for Montana Highway
200 

Noxon  The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would
like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to
resurface about 8.2 miles of Highway 200 east and west of Noxon in
Sanders County. The project begins at reference post 14.7 about 0.7
miles west of the intersection at Noxon Avenue East and extends
southeasterly for 8.2 miles, ending about 0.2 miles southeast of
Driftwood Point Lane at reference post 22.9.

Proposed work includes
crack sealing, seal and cover (chip seal), upgraded pavement markings
and shoulder rumble strips. The purpose of the project is to enhance
the safety of the traveling public and take a cost-effective action
to prolong and preserve the existing pavement

The project is
tentatively scheduled for construction in 2019, depending on
completion of all project development activities and availability of
funding.
No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be needed.
