of Transportation Proposes Interstate Fencing Project for Interstate
Glendive — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would
like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to replace
fence along about 12.4 miles of Interstate 94 in Dawson County. The
project begins east of the Sidney Interchange at exit 213 (reference
post 213.6) and extends east for 12.4 miles, ending approximately 2
miles east of exit 224 at reference post 226.0.
includes replacement of existing Interstate fencing. The purpose of
the project is to preserve access control and enhance the safety of
the traveling public.
A target construction date will be determined
upon completion of all project development activities and
availability of funding. No new right-of-way or utility relocations
will be needed.
