STIP Public Comment

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is seeking public comment on upcoming projects. Public input is a key component for our projects. We want to know more about your experience with driving, walking, bicycling, transit, and other modes of transportation in these areas.

Please use the comment tool to share your experience and provide input on the current needs and deficiencies for the state’s transportation system. Your input is valuable and will be used to help identify the issues the projects should address. Thank you for your thoughts!

*Although the official STIP Public Comment period closed on April 24th, MDT would still like your input on upcoming projects. Please feel to provide your comments via any of the tools on our website – so that we may give them consideration when developing future projects.

To provide a comment on a STIP project:

  1. Open the STIP Interactive Public Comments and apply STIP filter by map located in the top right corner:
  2. Click on your location(s) of interest, add your comment(s) map comment icon, and click Submit. Your comment will be received and added for the project.
