Highway - 191 Gallatin Canyon Safety Improvements
Montana Department of Transportation is making improvements to Highway 191 through Gallatin Canyon in order to enhance public safety. The projects include adding turn lanes for Highway 64 going to Big Sky, slope flattening, widening of shoulders, improving clear zones, improving site distance, installing new and upgraded guardrails, and replacing two bridges. Construction will continue into 2010.

$12 million with funding support by the Federal Highway Administration
