Public Involvement

Public involvement is an important component of this project. Two (2) separate public meetings will be held during development of the project that will align with major project milestones. The informational meetings will be conducted to provide project status updates and solicit comments. The date, time, and location for these meetings will be announced prior to each event through local media and this website. Members of the public may also review information posted on this website as it becomes available.

Public comment will be considered to better understand potential issues, concerns, opportunities, and constraints. If you would like to submit a comment on the project, please use the comment tool linked below.

Past Open Houses

April 4, 2018 Open House

The Montana Department of Transportation conducted an open house meeting to discuss the proposal to rehabilitate the Higgins Avenue Bridge over the Clark Fork River in Missoula.

The meeting was held in Missoula on Wednesday, April 4, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Wilma Theater (131 South Higgins Avenue). Project team members were available during the meeting to discuss the project.
