Smith Creek Bridge

Project Overview
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will replace the existing structure over Smith Creek on Old Highway 10, one mile west of Forsyth. This project is in the early design phase, which is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2023. When constructed it will include:
- Replacement of the existing bridge
- Two 12-foot lanes and 4-foot shoulders on either side
- Minor road work to tie into the bridge on each end
- Addition of guardrail within the project limits
Construction is anticipated to begin in 2024.

We plan to present the project to the community during the summer of 2022. You are encouraged to learn about and comment on the project during its early phases, and we hope you will continue to provide comments as the Smith Creek Bridge Reconstruction project moves through the various project phases.
Comments
