Work at multiple sites in the Butte area continues as part of the Butte Bridges project.
Next week, the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Sletten Construction Company anticipate closing the Burlington Street bridge, located over Interstate 90 (I-90), through mid-August. Motorists on I-90 can expect lane shifts and reduced speeds during this time. Full closures and detours for Burlington Street will be in place through construction.
Work at Centennial Avenue is now expected to be completed mid-October. Full closures and detours will be in place through construction.
All activities are dependent on weather and other unforeseen factors.
Stay alert and follow posted signage in the work zone.

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Sletten Construction Company have completed the major bridge repairs to the Warm Springs Creek bridge. Crews will remove the traffic control at this site until crack sealing work is scheduled. Once a crack seal is applied, construction at Warm Springs Creek bridge will conclude.
In Butte, the detour remains in place for the Centennial Avenue bridge. On Interstate 90 (I-90) crews will be working in the median just south of the Interstate 15 (I-15) interchange. Stay alert and follow posted signage in the work zone.
