What is the estimated timeline for the project?
Construction is expected to begin early this spring and will continue through the summer. Riverside Contracting Inc. and MDT anticipate project improvements being completed in one construction season. Minor disruptions to traffic flow are expected during construction.

How is this project being funded?
This project is being funded by Surface Transportation Program Primary (STPP), a program that finances transportation projects on the state-designated Primary Highway System. Funds are primarily used to resurface, rehabilitate, or reconstruct roads and bridges on this system.
Are there plans to address the stormwater drainage issue on Front Street?
Yes. This project will include the installation of a new storm drain system to reduce water ponding and other drainage issues in the project area. This includes improvements to the drainage ditches along the north side of Front Street and Rosebud Street and a new underground storm drain system to direct water toward the Yellowstone River, on the northeast side of Forsyth. These improvements will be a significant upgrade to the existing stormwater facilities and will provide long term benefits to the Forsyth community.
