Project Overview

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Battle Ridge Builders will begin work in mid-July to replace the Farm to Market bridge that spans Libby Creek. The bridge is located at mile marker 2.6.

In December 2025, the bridge was severely damaged by the Libby Creek flooding, necessitating the closure and detour for the safety of travelers. MDT evaluated both repairing the existing structure and fully replacing it, ultimately determining that replacement was the most cost effective option and would provide a longer service life.
