The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and L & J Construction Group are wrapping up work on the Secondary Highway 531 (S 531) bridge near Hamilton this week. Crack sealing work remains, but has been postponed to 2025, as warmer temperatures are required for this work.

Motorists should expect:

  • Flaggers or temporary signals will control traffic.
  • Reduced speed limits.
  • Possible delays.
  • Wide loads may be restricted. Visit 511mt.net for the most up-to-date information.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, slow down, and use caution through the work zone.
