Welcome to MDT's Interactive Traffic web map!

If you are working on or contracted to do an MDT project, do not use traffic data from this map. Please continue sending your formal traffic data requests via email.

Please utilize this map if you are looking for Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT).

The Traffic web map contains a basemap, a set of data layers, which include interactive pop-up windows with information about the data, and navigation tools to pan around and zoom in to the map.

For the best user experience with this online web map, please use Google Chrome. Firefox and IE can be used yet you may experience technical difficulties at times.

There are multiple layers of information being displayed on the map:

  1. County Daily Vehicle Miles Traveled (DVMT)
  2. Traffic Counts
  3. Traffic Segments

You must zoom in or “drill down” in the map to see detailed information for the Traffic Counts and Traffic Segments layers. Once zoomed in, the County DVMT layer will disappear and Traffic Counts and Traffic Segments data will appear.

Click on the features in the map to display details. The pop-up box displays data in multiple slides – scroll through the slides using the arrow at the top of the box.
