Provided below are links to a number of documents prepared by Montana State University for the Montana Department of Transportation. These documents were prepared for a research project related to the development of a design model for geosynthetic reinforced flexible pavements. Two reports were prepared for the project.

The report, Numerical Modeling of Geosynthetic Reinforced Flexible Pavements, describes the theoretical numerical modeling work performed.

The report, Mechanistic-Empirical Modeling and Design Model Development for Geosynthetic Reinforced Flexible Pavements and its appendix, describe how the numerical model was used to develop a mechanistic-empirical pavement analysis model, from which a design model was developed.
