National Weather Service Billings MT

405 PM MDT TUE JUL 17 2018



The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a



* Flash Flood Warning for...

  Southwestern Carter County in southeastern Montana...



* Until 800 PM MDT.



* At 403 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 

  heavy rain across the warned area. Radar indicates up to two 

  inches of rain have already fallen, with additional heavy rain 

  expected. Flash flooding is expected. Some creeks potentially 

  impacted are Willow Creek and Thompson Creek.



* Some locations that will experience flooding include...

  Hammond.

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a



* Flash Flood Warning for...

  West central Judith Basin County in central Montana...

  Southeastern Cascade County in central Montana...



* Until 230 PM MDT.



* At 1232 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 

  heavy rain across the warned area. Over two inches of rain has 

  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly along 

  smaller drainages leading to Belt Creek.



* Some locations that will experience flooding include...

  Neihart.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where

you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become

killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or

creeks.
