...HIGH WIND WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has cancelled the

High Wind Watch.

Gusty west to southwest winds will increase today, peaking this

afternoon with gusts of 50 to 60 mph likely along the east slopes

of the Rockies. Locally higher gusts are possible along areas

immediately adjacent to the front range of the Rockies. Localized

blowing and drifting snow is possible but widespread impacts from

strong winds are not anticipated and temperatures warming well

above freezing this afternoon will reduce the threat for blowing

and drifting snow impacts.
