* WHAT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph 

  expected.



* WHERE...Fort Peck Lake.



* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 5 PM MST this afternoon.



* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will 

  create hazardous conditions for small craft.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution since strong winds

and rough waves can overturn small craft.

...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON

THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...



* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph, with gusts near 60 mph

  possible over the plains and 75 mph in wind-prone areas along

  the Rocky Mountain Front.



* WHERE...Northern Rocky Mountain Front, Eastern Glacier, Toole 

  and Southern Rocky Mountain Front.



* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.



* IMPACTS...High winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power

  lines. A few local power outages are possible. Travel may become

  difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates on this

situation. Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe

location prior to the onset of winds.
