An important aspect of the planning study process is to provide opportunities for ongoing and meaningful public involvement. Education and public outreach are essential in achieving this goal. The first public meeting was held in March 2020 and a second informational meeting will be held in Fall 2021.
- Public Open House Meeting #1 was held on March 5, 2020, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Whitefish City Hall. The focus of the open house was to collect feedback about the study area needs and long-term vision. At this public event, we gained valuable input that helped inform our following decisions.
- Virtual Informational Meeting #2 scheduled for September 2021. The focus of this meeting will be to share findings and recommendations for improvements.
