Our goal is:

Reduce Young Driver Fatalites

  • Because of the trend in these fatalities, Montana hopes to maintain drivers age 20 or younger involved in fatal crashes at the 2014-2018 five-year rolling average of 26 through December 31, 2025.

Peer-to-Peer Traffic Safety

MDT considers teen traffic safety a priority and has developed a Peer-to-Peer Traffic Safety Campaign Program. This program can assist teens in developing their own traffic safety education program in their schools. Learn more about this program and read the Teens in the Driver Seat Guidebook.
